Yard work (Tatsu)

Today was going to be rather easy, for today Tatsu was going to simply help one of his neighbors with some yard work. It would be a piece of cake! Usually Tatsu would not do work for others let alone work for himself but this particular neighbor had a daughter who had happened to be very nice and he owed them a favor. Tatsu walked over to the door and knocked on it three times. knock knock knock.  The small eye could be seen in the glass pain that decorated the top of the door then quickly disappear, the door opened and a small girl stood in the door way. She had long blonde hair that was put in to two braids and she wore a green dress and matching shoes, she was only about four years old however she was very smart for her age. "Tazoo!" she said happy to her friend, she wrapped her arms around his leg and greeted him with a tight hug. Her father came stepping into view from down the hall way "Ah i see you made it lad this way" he said. This was Kujo, the man of the house, he was a tall man with a large belly, he has a local vendor who liked to make inventions in his spare time. Even now he had on a brown apron and a welding mask on, he lifted it and shook Tatsu's hand. "Yeah,  what did you need me to do?" the boy asked wiping some of the oil left on hishand from Kujo on his pants.  Kujo put his hands on his hips "Not much just rake some leaves and cut the grass in the back yard" he stated. Tatsu nodded "ill be done in a bit then" he said as Kujo guided him to the back.

As Tatsu got to the back his eyes grew wide at how many leaves were scattered over the back yard, he couldn't even see the grass! It was all just a coat of brown and yellow leaves all over. "Well good luck boy" Kujo said before heading back in to his house to work on some more inventions. Tatsu grinned "Well this would be very difficult...if i weren't an air bender" he said as he began to get a few begs and pinning them open. Ironically most of the nomads had learned air bending to make their lives easier, this was not Tatsu's reason for learning but in all honesty it did come in handy many times. Tatsu ran out to the middle of the yard and looked around "Alright this should be no problem" he said allowed. He then got a bit lower spreading his feet to shoulder width apart, he raised his hands and began to whirl them in circular motions above his head, as he did this a small wind began to conjure up, gathering most of the leaves within a few feet of him. "Easy does it" he says to himself as he slowly skips forward and bends the leaves into the bag. He then ran to the edge of the yard and began to wave his arms again pushing all the leaves together in one pile, from the upstairs window the small girl watched Tatsu use his bending to do the yard work . "Wwhhooooaaa" she said. Tatsu glanced up for a moment, however he did not see her for she had ducked her head, giving a slight giggle. Tatsu shook his head thinking he has imagining things,for now he would put it out of his mind and continue his work.

When the leaves were all raked and put in to bags all that was left was to cut the grass, however he would not use bending for this particular task in fear that he might accidentally mess up the mans yard. "Alright lets see" he thought as he opened the door to the shed, his eyes scanned around looking for the hand mower when he did find it he lugged it over and began pushing it across the grass as it began to cut.

As soon as Tatsu had finished the young girl cme running out og the house with a large glass of water "Here you go tazoo" he said with a large grin. He smiled and wiped his forehead and took the glass, taking a big drink and chugging it all in one setting. "aahh, thanks" he said wiping his mouth. Moments later kujo came walking out "Ah good job boy!" he said as he looked over his yard, he lay a hand on the boys shoulder. "Any time " he said laughing a bit. It was a very good job indeed.
